At Arctic Cycles, we custom build our Surly Pugsley bikes for the conditions: Surly Pugsley designed non-offset 100 mm forks, and Snow Cat wheels. These are double wide wheels designed and developed for traveling in Alaska’s extreme conditions. We use Snow Cats 44mm, Large Marge 65mm and the new 80mm wheels - your choice with rental.
Snow Cat Super Lights (SL) are customized to reduce weight by another 1/4 pound per wheel. Arctic Cycle bikes are equipped with Surly Endomorph 3.7 tires, Shimano XT components and Avid disc brakes for durability and long life.

Arctic Cycles fleet of XT Pugsleys Race Rental are on SpecialWe recommend that you bring your own seat, peddles and shoes. The bikes come with BMX style peds otherwise . We also have several sets of Shimano DX SPD peddles.
